It's always useful to seek housing advice from a BG alum.

I'm a BG '00 alum.

Here's my two cents:
1. consider your bathroom needs -- 3rd floor is cleaner but more hard work if you're over 21 and have drunk too much alcohol
2. the Lodge or the Choates or similar type housing at Dartmouth is just as convenient as BG housing
3. residents of the BG house need to care for the TV room and carpets, etc.
4. when donating money or making renovations, think about chicks
