Reunion is coming up, and the house looks better than I've ever seen it - great tube room, solid pong, new lights, windows & sofas on the first floor, working plumbing(!).

However, one thing is conspicuously absent: Foos.

I'd like to arrange a gift from the 1991, 1992 and 1993 classes. A professional-grade Tornado II table is $1650 delivered.

I'll personally pony the first $250 - we only need seven more people willing to chip $200 and we'll have restored foos to the house for at least another decade.

I will also get a plaque engraved with our class years, along with any donor's names.

I would like to complete this gift by C&R this year, so we can play on the damn thing and get it properly broken in.

With much muscle from Siggy and Ian the new FOOS table has returned to the 'Gate.

The package arrived on Monday at my offices - all 425 lbs of it! After some wrangling of the two main boxes through the front door we had it in. From that point it was about an hour and a half of figuring out where everything went, which key did what and most importantly - how to rig the coin mechanism to work without putting quarters in!

It is beautiful. Siggy and Ian promised to 'Guard it with our lives.' - so it should be in fine shape for this coming weekend. It's set up just to the right of the fireplace. Be sure to buy them both drinks this weekend to thank them for their help.
